A Birth Long Saga : Vijaynandini

A Birth Long Saga : Vijaynandini

Before, coming to the saga of Vijay and Vijayvati, we must understand the strong bond of love between Vijaynandan and Vijaynandani.
Long long ago, a millennium to be exact, there were two kingdoms of Tilismgarh and Mayanagri which had great bilateral relations and sprinkled love on each other to no extent. Both Tilismgarh and Mayanagri were known for magic. They both were known as the house of best ever magicians who used their skills for entertainment and also to serve the humanity in all possible ways. Tilismgarh had Maharani Vijaynandani and Mayanagri was proud of Kumar Vijaynandan. Both Vijaynandani and Vijaynandan had such a deep love bond between them that it could even beat the Mariana Trench in point of depth. This started when; Vijaynandan had come to Tilismgarh for improving the bilateral relations and regulating the kingdom affairs. The distance between Tilismgarh and Mayanagri was very less too. In the process, he gave his heart to Maharani Vijaynandani. Charmed by the strength and the purity of the great affection between their rulers, the people decided to make them life partners. This was the time when the people lit lamps of happiness and the houses were decorated beautifully. Everyone could be seen jumping with joy and the air was truly merry. The marriage of the rulers had filled the kingdoms with delight and love. Everything was going on great and soon Vijaynandani gave birth to the future of the two kingdoms. A young girl was born and she was named Vidharbika. Vidharbika had a great interest in fighting and pretending to re-capture her kingdom from the enemies. Who knew that one day this will be a blessing for the two kingdoms? This had filled the people with more pleasure. The kingdom had its most beautiful days going on.
But as everything comes to an end with the passage and twist of time, the happiness got shattered. The direction of the winds changed and the fortune turned. Sorrows wrapped the kingdom. Something which should not have happened occurred. Vidharbika was 7 when the kingdoms were attacked by the evil enchantress queen Chandalini who wanted to rule the world. A fierce battle ensued. Within, a game of few days, the people were uprooted from their homes and everything was turned into dust. The combined forces of Tilismgarh and Mayanagri proved to be nothing in front of the forces of Chandalini. A day, which became the saddest day in the history of the kingdoms, arrived. During the fierce war, Vijaynandani was shot by the poisonous arrows thrice in her stomach. The poison was so poisonous and the magic was so magical, that it took the beautiful life of Vijaynandani. Fully covered with wounds and in a sorrow state, Vijaynandani took her last breath lying in the arms of her dear husband, Vijaynandan. Seeing his precious than life wife martyred, Vijaynandan couldn’t bear the pains anymore and the desire to live in his mind shattered. His sufferings crossed all the limits. With so many tears in his eyes, Vijaynandan decided to take revenge from Chandalini. Suddenly, a big and powerful ox came running and banged into Vijaynandan. The push was so hard that it crushed Vijaynandan and with multiple fractures and ruptures, Vijaynandan went into a forever sleep. With both the rulers gone, the kingdoms fell at the hands of cruel Chandalini. However, the future of Tilismgarh and Mayanagri was left safe and secure.  Vidharbika who was still 7, along with a few trustworthy subjects fled to the neighboring kingdom which was loyal to her parents and lived a hard life over there for a few years. These years were spent to build a mighty army and launch a successful campaign in order to reconquer the kingdoms from the evil hands of Chandalini. Chandalini perished in the attack but the next generation of this heartless queen ran away with seeds of revenge planted in mind.
Vidharbika who was now 18, was crowned the queen of Tilismgarh Vidharbika ruled her kingdom in a great way and kept almost all of her people jovial. Mayanagri was given in the hands of Veerlamba who was the most eligible and trustworthy minister of Vidharbika.
On a golden day, a baby was born in the kingdom of Mayanagri to Queen Vanisha and King Viplavdev, who turned out to be the reincarnation of Vijaynandan and was named Vijay. Soon after, the good news arrived from the kingdom of Tilismgarh where a beautiful girl was born to Queen Vaishalima and King Vangamsingh, who turned out to be the reincarnation of Vijaynandani and was named Vijayvati.
Both the kingdoms came together and held huge jollifications to celebrate the nativity of their future monarchs. The kingdoms were beautifully decorated and tunes of charming music were spread all over. Each and every street was lit with lamps and even the animals were jovial. People were seen waltzing and twirling with laughter. Magicians were in the streets performing their majestic miracles. The versatile and rich heritage of the kingdoms was put at the show. The wave of happiness had arrived once again after that horrifying day.
When the children grew, they were sent to a gurukul situated in the forest in order to gain mastery at warfare and magic. Both of them spent years learning and playing. The forest was really dense and adorned with huge and lush green trees. There was a great deal of wildlife in the forest. Elephants, oxen, deer, wild beasts, monkeys, and squirrels were found. There was a village on the outskirts of the forest where Vijayvati and Vijay used to hang out during the hours they weren’t training.Within this time, they came to know each other as the back of their hands. Vijay became a skilled archer and horse rider while Vijayvati became an unbeatable enchantress and sword fighter. They even developed such great combat techniques that escaping from them became a hard nut to crack. Besides becoming a skilled warrior and enchantress, Vijayvati became a scholar at many languages. Her speaking skills were as fluent as the ink of cello butterflow and language was as dense as the dead sea. They both could even communicate with sparrows and made them their allies. When united, their strength increased to such a level that once they even defeated a deadly pack of wolves. They spent their time helping those stuck in difficulties and earned a great deal of intimacy. After learning and mastering what all was needed, the young prince and princess returned to their holistic motherlands. They had come to the last years of their teens at that time.
Vijayvati was great to see her kingdom prosper well and full of melody. She was great to see her loved people content. She got a lot of stories about the kingdom to listen. So much happened since she had left Tilismgarh. The same happened with Vijay. They both were overjoyed to see their kingdoms so posh and promised to bring more and more prestige to their lands. Huge clarinets were played marking the grand return. Vijay and Vijayvati had so much to tell their kingdoms about such as the new skills they had polished, people they had met and the adventures they had performed together. Everything kept on going the same until the monarchs of Tilismgarh and Mayangari left overseas on a cruise trip. Then came the black clouds which covered the destiny.  The tragedy struck. People couldn’t believe themselves. Something really painful and devastating happened.  Its impact was such that it shattered the mental peace of each and every citizen. The ship had drowned in a sea storm which brought sorrows to the kingdom. The storm was so fatal that the rulers of both the empires got blown away and perished. Destiny cheated really brutally. Vijayvati and Vijay were really shattered and heartbroken after coming to know such a tragic incident. Vijayvati was crowned the queen but Vijay’s luck wasn’t so good. Without the monarchs, situations in Mayangari started worsening. The biggest unfortunate fact was that Vijay had to go and control the turmoil from the provinces which were really far away from Tilismgarh. He was disheartened to get separated from his best friend Vijayvati. But she thought to overcome her emotions and rule her kingdom in the best possible ways. She wanted to ensure carefree and gleeful lives of her people. She wanted to make the people forget the loss and race towards betterment. Vijayvati started from improving the conditions at the border area and with the support of her military commanders, strengthened the security forces of her kingdom. Giving people a better employment and developing in a sustainable way became her major concerns. She reduced all the unecessary sorts of taxes and charged only the needed ones. Vijayvati became well remembered as the installer of non-electric air conditioning appliances. Vijayvati got the schools and hospitals modified of her kingdom and started a courteous rule. She even united the people together and became the peacemaker. Vijayvati was also known for her strict judicial policies which prevented cheating in all sorts of forms. Vijayvati monitored the accounts and kept a wise check of her transactions. She was loved by each and every child and each and every elderly person. She was a total carbon copy of Vijaynandani for whom her people were as precious as Peacock Throne and the Kohinoor Diamond adorned on it. Vijayvati became like a daughter to her people and an elder sister to all the cute little youngsters of the kingdom. When not present at the court or regulating her kingdom affairs or helping the people who had fallen victims to difficulties, she was found playing with the children. The kids thoroughly enjoyed her company and got to learn a huge number of fun-filled tasks. Vijayvati loved narrating stories of fantasy and thrill to the young sweethearts.  She taught them magic tricks and warfare. She insisted them to serve humanity always. Children were her all-time best friends. They were the one who relaxed her completely and brought an enormous smile on her face whenever she was under strain.
Their attachment was so strong that they considered each other as siblings. Kids were her perfect playmates. Whenever she desired to have the feel of being a daughter, she used to flee to the hermitage of the elderly. There she served them food and even fed them with her own hands. She gave medicines to those who had fallen sick. Moreover, she used to read them the ancient legends. In return, the elderly showered their blessings on their queen who was just like a caring daughter. People used to enjoy the company of their Maharani Vijayvati and named her as the Light of Merriment. After looking at their jovial faces, Vijayvati used to find a gigantic smile on her heart. One day, while wandering on the banks of the sea, she found something really unusual. She saw that a dolphin was having a light session with other smaller fish. This really calmed the other little creatures who had drowned in worries of being killed because of an unknown reason.  The fish went back happily. This gave Vijayvati a delight in herself and made her remember her very charming mother Vaishalima. She was the one with whom she could discuss all her insecurities and find a peace of mind. She couldn’t hold her emotions after seeing her mother in the form of a beautiful dolphin. Really, the dolphin was the reincarnation of late Maharani Vaishalima. Vijayvati scampered to her and made the dolphin her angel by using magic. Finally, she found an angel to whom she could reveal all her sentiments. Every day, she used to rush to the banks and met the dolphin. She named the dolphin Alisha as she was the one who made her joyful. Alisha and Vijayvati used to swim long hours and one day, they even measured a really large portion of the ocean. Vijayvati had magic as her keen interest. She knew how to make perfumes out of flowers in a flash, moving objects here and there and even making them talk to her, giving a life to her dolls and dancing with them.
Everything kept going on like this for a few years. Vijayvati turned into 22. A huge celebration was held on her birthday. She was really glad to have her people next to her celebrating such a special day.Young children decorated bouquets and gifted them to her as a token of endearment. Senior citizens used to be full of blessings which were showered on the queen. Young women served the queen her favorite meal of roasted potatoes and baked fish. People expressed their gratitude for having such a lovely and caring queen. Vijayvati had also made all her royal helpers and gallant soldiers her family. This day made her aware of the love the people of Tilismgarh showered on her. People of Mayanagari were also proud of this young Empress. Heartful blessings used to fly all the way from Mayanagri.
The most gleeful part came when she received a scroll which was sent by her very dear companion Vijay. It stated that the turmoil at Mayanagari had been diluted completely and he had been missing her very much. Vijay was about to arrive at Tilismgarh and meet Vijayvati once again after years. This really had Vijayvati floating on a huge cloud of happiness. Only one thought went in her mind which was, “Finally, the moment has arrived. I am about to meet my dear Vijay. Can’t imagine how will he look like. Am not able to understand the reaction which I will give after meeting him after so many years.”
Vijayvati went away flying on her magical carpet searching for Alisha to deliver such a great news. On the way, she found a young man riding a chariot. The beautiful young handsome had his face covered with a cloth. Vijayvati wondered who he was and for whom was he searching. The unknown personality lost his balance and was about to fall off a cliff. Vijayvati couldn’t resist rushing to help. She jumped down the carpet and cast a spell on the chariot which stopped it from falling. She saved the life of the young man. With a blow of air, the mask which had covered the young man’s face blew away. The young man looked even more charming without the mask. In a beautiful voice, he said, “I am Vijay and I am coming all the way from the province of Mayanagri. I have arrived here to meet my best ever friend Vijayvati with whom I got separated way before. I wonder how will she be.” Just after listening to these words, Vijayvati revealed her identity. Both of them couldn’t believe themselves and thought that it was an elegant dream come true. Vijay was more than happy to meet his friend Vijaya (a name used to address Vijayvati with affection by Vijay). Both the friends had been united once again.
Vijayvati took Vijay inside the kingdom where the people were eagerly waiting for them. People could be seen sprinkling flowers and sacred water on the two love doves. Vijay got the feeling of being home once again. People were great to see the long gone prince of Mayanagari once again. Within a few days, Vijay occupied a favorable position in the hearts of the residents. Kids followed him wherever he went. Most of all, he became the soul mate of Vijayvati. They both spent huge spans of time chatting and practicing warfare together. They both seemed to be the perfect match for each other. They both used to accompany each other to the banks of the sea where they used to find Alisha waiting for them. Vijayvati found her prince once again and they both often partnered in administration.  One day a special festival celebrated by Tilismgarh and Mayanagari arrived. It was celebrated once in 10 years. In that festival, people used to hold big jollifications. Temples were adorned beautifully.  Fountains were put on the display. Animals such as cattle and birds were decorated and were fed the fresh grass. But at the top of all, people used to dance together in pairs. It was a festival in which the people celebrated love which they had in the soul for each other. It was like a day when love could be seen dazzling in the air. Love flower used to blossom everywhere. Both Vijay and Vijayvati were really excited for the big gala event. They helped in the decoration of the temples and fed the cows. Each and every person could be seen in pleasure and joy. Cool winds were blowing and the trees were rustling. Everything was pleasant. Temples were looking very great living and magnificent. Beautiful floor patterns were made on the ground and gas lamps were placed on the floor. Environment-friendly fireworks were blown. All the animals were looking satisfied after having the fresh and delicious food.  At last, came the best part of the day. Men and women, boys and girls could be seen performing the local dance form in pairs. The monarchs of Tilismgarh and Mayanagari were the ones who were dancing most elegantly. It was a day which showed rich heritage of the two kingdoms. It was the first time Vijayvati was dancing with someone. Vijay was really delighted too. The day ended with people sitting next to each other and giggling. The beauty of the two kingdoms was really a must watch. That day, Vijay and Vijayvati fell in love with each other while dancing. The meaning of the festival really came to life.
Just like this, many rains arrived and went. People lived happy and healthy lives. Thatched hut now became well-versed accommodations and small shops transformed into big markets. Gardens full of trees occupied the place of barren lands. Lush green pastures for animals emerged and there was industrialization along with the fresh and clean environment. Then came the monsoon season. The most shocking part was that it didn’t even rain a little. People were dying of thirst. Crops didn’t have enough water to flourish. A food scarce arrived. People were really discontent. The land became unfit for agriculture. Children were missing the rains. Vijayvati and Vijay realized that a serious problem had broken out. Vijayvati was up with an excellent idea to tackle famine. She decided to connect the farmers from other lands to the markets of Tilismgarh. Other kingdoms were ready to help the famine affected Tilismgarh because of the strong and friendly bilateral relations Vijayvati had formed and even because the other kingdoms and Tilismgarh were great trading partners. Vijay came up with the ideas of linking the rivers so that water could be diverted to the areas where the scarcity was really high. Combined labor was used to restore the water storing systems as suggested by Maharani Vijayvati. Rain Water Harvesting systems were introduced to the houses. Together, the people restored the wells and built new beris for storing water. These efforts did show a change. People were able to buy food which had been sent to the markets by neighboring kingdoms. The areas with high scarce received the water which was diverted. The only thing which was needed to solve the problem completely was the rain. People performed rituals so that rain could come and end the problem. All these efforts and commitments charmed the nature and soon the rain arrived. Crops got enough water to drink and the people were no longer dying of thirst. Everyone was content once again. Now with these effective ways, people were ready to tackle the droughts in future. The whole credit went to the Maharani Vijayvati and Kumar Vijay. From then on, Maharani Vijayvati got one more title which was The Ray of Hope. People were really pleased with their beautiful Light of Merriment and Ray of Hope.
Vijayvati had a big hand at resolving the problems between the people of Tilismgarh while Vijay was a boon to Mayanagari. Vijay and Vijayvati used to go together for hunting in the forests. Love and unity now emerged between the people and social and economic differences reduced. The young sweethearts used to take lessons of warfare and languages from the two. People were really sure that with such great warriors, their kingdom could never be under attack. Everyone was really charmed of their tactics and wanted to learn amazing skills. Thus, the military forces of the two kingdoms strengthened. The kingdoms developed more and more at a really high rate that the heights of progress crossed the outer space. Having such kind of rulers allowed no one to stay uncharmed. The air became buzzing with laughter. The biggest fun which the kingdom had was transforming the place into a world of magic and having jolly times. But then the history repeated itself. The mishap which had happened at the time of Vijaynandan and Vijaynandani occurred. Just because of that Vijaynandani lost her life to Chandalini. The people’s minds were really disturbed. They didn’t want to lose Vijayvati to the next generation of the evil enchantress the same way Vijaynandani was killed by Chandalini. People couldn’t even afford to lose Vijay the way they had lost Vijaynandan.
You all guessed right! From the above-mentioned part, we can clearly make out that the future generation of Chandalini had arrived and was threatening the peace and security of Tilismgarh and Mayanagari.
People were afraid of losing everything they owned and their beloved monarchs. But Vijay and Vijayvati calmed their people by saying that the kingdoms have highly strong military forces, a huge development rate, and financial strength which will surely eradicate Chandramukhi (an evil enchantress from Chandalini’s clan). Once again, a fierce war broke out. A huge number of soldiers were martyred each day and bloodshed could be seen. People grew sad on losing their loved ones. Some markets were sealed and a few were displaced. It was an extensive war. Every day hundreds of men and women fighting in the war used to lose their lives to one another. But the combined forces of Tilismgarh and Mayanagari were at the winning position. Despite this, Chandramukhi couldn’t be regarded weak and had great power in her hands.
That day, Vijayvati could be seen dueling Chandramukhi. War was happening near the river banks. Vijay was far away from Vijayvati on the battlefield. Chandramukhi managed to be the perfect match of Vijayvati. The duel went on for long and suddenly, an enemy soldier arrived and attacked Vijayvati’s hand with a knife. This caused Vijayvati to lose attention and thus Chandramukhi shot Vijayvati with an arrow in her stomach. She kicked her down on the floor after shooting her with the arrow. But it wasn’t sufficient to break the strength of our valiant queen. Vijayvati managed to pluck out the arrow from her stomach and tried to stand up. Just the moment, she was about to stand up, she was shot by another arrow. Still, even after so much suffering and pain, Vijayvati didn’t consider a defeat and plucked out the second arrow too. She then stood up on the ground and killed some of the enemy soldiers using her fierce magic. But the worst part was yet to happen. Another arrow went inside Vijayvati’s stomach. But this time she was unable to pluck it out like the previous times and fell on the ground crying in pain. Chandramukhi threw the unconscious maiden in the river. Although breathing, it became harder and harder for her to survive. The river took the unconscious one to a faraway land.
A kind man found the half-dead queen lying on the river bank. He plucked out the deadly arrow from, her stomach and took her to his home. The most shocking part was that Vijayvati landed at her own teacher’s house who used to teach her warfare. Brahmcharini on seeing her ex-student, tormenting, called the physician to heal her. The physician pronounced her state to be critical and breath rate falling rapidly. From his pouch, he took out a few sacred seeds and burnt them next to the sleeping queen. After applying for ayurvedic medicines on her wounds, he patted her head. He finally, managed to cut the poison but still, Vijayvati’s condition was truly life taking. She was so still and silent that it felt she had become sleeping beauty.
At Tilismgarh, people were drenched in deep sorrows. Sadness was in the bosoms of all. Everyone thought that the queen was lost forever. The ray of hope was now shattered for the mourning townsfolk. Vijay proved to be mentally strong in the situation and thought to keep things intact. He thought of bringing hope once again of the people. He had only one word which was that the queen was meant to live and hope never shatters, thus, she’ll be back. These words did have an impact. Seeing, this great attachment, love and extreme purity of the bond, the gods of the heaven were charmed. The lights of the heaven bloomed and a blessing came to the Earth. Lord Narayan himself came to her and all of a sudden, life entered inside the queen. She received a plenteous blessing and by the charms of the lord, the wounds disappeared. Finally, still hands shook and shut eyes opened. Someone returned almost from the grave. Vijayvati was back. Now with all the sufferings and pain disappeared, Vijayvati thought of ending the sins of the cruel enchantress.
Just then, from the curtains which covered the room, emerged Brahmcharini with a cup of tea leaves soaked in pure water in her hand to nurse her unconscious student. To see her student revived, she was amused. Vijayvati too bowed in a respectful way. Then she pleaded Brahmcharini to let her go to the war scene. But was given an essential and life working advice to recall her education and then do. Vijayvati decided to stay back and spent time in forming an army. She along with Brahmacharini’s son, Varad learned new and unbeatable tactics, plus formed a huge regiment. Meanwhile, the war continued at Tilismgarh. Vijay now started longing for his friend Vijayvati. He was consoled by the people who said that their queen and his friend will surely be back and everything will be back to normal. The conditions became like those of the Kalinga war in which thousands were forced to deal with pain and wails of the kith and kin of the fighters could be seen. Next day, the sun rose and the sky was all yellow. Winds blew and the thunderstruck. A feeling emerged that something was going to happen and surely, it did. Chandramukhi riding on her horse, carrying a sword in hand and wearing a dark black gown arrived. Horse barged and charged and the army roared. Again, a massive battle broke out and soon the forces of Tilismgarh went down and boom. Vijay was caught in a trap. Suddenly, it felt that the queen of the jungle jumped in and listening to her voice, all bowed. Long gone empress was on the battlefield. She pulled a sword from the scabbard hanging from her waist. Varad was too participating in the war. As she did so, enemies came and fell. The scene was completely turned. Chandramukhi went to attack but was knocked out. The new military blocked all the paths and left no stones unturned in order to make Chandramukhi fall on her knees. It looked like the longs nails of ego were chopped off and poor Chandramukhi, her story was ended by the magical blast.
Vijay, had his deep blue eyes, burst open when he found Vijayvati standing in front of him that he just gave her a tight hug. Both the love buds were now united. Seeing, the great strength and purity of the endearment, the two were married. The sparkling bride and the handsome groom emitted great charms. The love flower produced the highest amount of fragrance and the glory looked enchanted. The two married and the queen moved to her new home Mayanagari. She was still the ruler of Tilismgarh and kept going to the Tilismgarh’s royal court riding on horses just like Vijaynandani. Both the kingdoms lived joyful and content lives ever after.
The End
Wish me luck for the future half-yearly exams. May 7308 rule and top the exams plus become the student of the age.
