The Change in Personality

The Change in Personality

By-~Devishi Aggarwal

Hi, readers! We all know that toys are our most favourite objects during the childhood years. Toys are the one with which we enjoy playing the most and spending a great deal of time. They are truly amazing. We all want them to be around us all the time.

I remember stopping my parents at the toy shops and asking them to buy me a new toy. Toys were really dear to me during the time I was a little kiddo. I used to take toys with me wherever I used to go. I even remember making a full family out of them. I even used to take the toys to bed with me. I guess that we all did so.

Toys are really a kind of special friends during the childhood. We all are really deeply connected to them during the time we are joyful young hearts. We remember playing with toy cars, dolls, toy mobile phones, animals, stuffed toys and many more. I remember a huge number of dolls with whom I used to spend jolly times. My favourites were Meera, Little Gina, Chunnu, Mandy, Sandy and Mommy. I couldn’t bear when my toys weren’t around me. But as I grew up into a teen, I really, forgot playing with my dear toys.

There’s a time when toys mean the world to us and we regard them as our dearest objects. They are just like a blessing from the great Almighty for us. But, as the wheel of time spins and as many rains come and go, things change. We start getting ahead in life. While going through this path, we get new interests, new hobbies and new skills. We even don’t get any time for playing with toys.

Now, I am more indulged in making questionnaires, studying history, reading new things, dancing, playing on mobile etc. Just because of the above listed reasons, I barely get any time to play with toys. Just the same, happens with all of us. As we grow up, we face new challenges, responsibilities and a change in our lifestyle. With the passage of time, we desire to fill our life with new and innovative colours and desire to have contemporary things to do rather than playing with toys. All this, leads to our ignorance to our once all-time favourite objects. Busy lives have also added to these reasons because of which we aren’t able to devote any time to ourselves.

Playing with toys may seem to us as silly kind of childlike stuff but one thing which will always remain the truth is that toys open the doors of our childhood memories. Even today, when I open my closet and find toys inside, my childhood memories get revived and a smile gleams on my face.
